All users must agree to these Terms and Conditions prior to use.
These Terms and Conditions permit the Client to use the Life off the lead exercise field for exercising dogs under close personal supervision at all times.
By using the facilities at Life off the Lead, you (hereafter referred to as ‘The Client’) automatically agree to these terms and conditions.
“Conditions” mean the booking conditions which shall form part of the contract between Life off the Lead and the Client.
Life off the Lead have absolute discretion to permit or prohibit all types of activity on the land.
The booking is personal to the Client and may not be transfer or sub-let to any other person, without prior consent from Life off the Lead.
ARRIVING AND PARKING AT LIFE OFF THE LEAD:
When you arrive at the site, the field is to be found to the top left of the car park as you drive in.
Please make sure you park in the spaces in front of the 5-bar gate, as these are our designated spaces.
##Please be aware that pub users might have loose dogs in
the car park##
Please note that appointments have a 10 minute gap between them to ensure that where possible, only one client is on the premises at one time.
This allows you time to leave before the other person arrives.
Please do not arrive more than 5 minutes early for your appointment, unless you are going to be visiting the pub.
If you arrive and see somebody using the field and parked in the designated spaces, please park away from the gate and stay with your dog(s) in the car until they have left.
This is of the UTMOST importance as the previous client’s dog(s) may need space from either you or your dog(s)
If they stay past your start time and do not appear to be leaving, please call me on 07849488485.
ENTRANCE & EXIT PROCEDURE:
Entrance to the field is through the pedestrian gate.
Please make sure you keep your dog(s) on the lead at all time until they are in the field and the gate is closed.
The key to the gate is held in the Key safe to the right of the gate.
The key safe code will be sent via text to your mobile phone.
Life off the lead recommend that you keep it on you during your visit.
Once inside the field, please make sure you close the gate and slide the bolt across otherwise it will not stay shut and your dog will be at risk of escaping!
If you arrive late for your session you must still leave at the end of your allotted time. Please contact me if you do arrive late, and I will let you know if there is another client after you. If I can extend your appointment I will.
Anyone who overstays more than three times will be banned from the field.
The Client shall ensure that the premises are secure at all times and shall not divulge any lock combination codes under any circumstances to any third party.
The codes are subject to change at any time by life off the lead without notice.
Please note that the gate MUST be locked behind you and the key returned to the key safe when you leave the premises.
Please make sure your dogs are on the lead before they exit the field.
RULES OF THE FIELD:
The client has exclusive use of the field, however, there is a maximum limit of 4 adults (4 under 16's) and 8 dogs allowed to use Life off the lead at any one time (unless agreed with the team in advance).
All dog poo MUST be picked up using the poo bags provided or your own and then either taken home with you or placed in the black dog poo bin with the lid secured.
We appreciate there may be the odd accidentally missed poo, but regular occurrences could result in the Client being banned from any future use of the field.
This is very important as some of the dogs that use this field eat other dogs faeces.
You have use of the summerhouse which has a seating area. You will also find first aid kits for both dogs and humans in here.
There is fresh water in the dog’s bowls and more bowls are available, you will also find a watering can next to the summerhouse to wash away any loose or runny poo.
You must not climb on any gates, fences or posts at any time.
Important reminder for all clients
Do NOT allow your dogs to dig anywhere on site. Any holes should be reported immediately as they cause a danger for dogs and other field users.
If your dog does dig and causes damage, please fill in the hole with the soil kept in the bucket by the summerhouse.
If your dog causes significant damage, please let one of the team know so we can fix it.
This is of the utmost importance as hole in the field can cause injury to other dogs or people.
The field is surrounded by a 6 foot high fence with deer wire and wooden base boards and privacy netting in some areas, however, if your dog(s) can jump high fences or is/are likely to dig themselves out, then the field may not be totally secure for you.
I cannot accept responsibility for escapees.
The Client shall keep the Life off the lead field clean and tidy and shall ensure that all litter generated by the Client is placed in the rubbish bin in the summer house.
Any children under the care and/or control of the Client are to be supervised at all times. They must not climb on the enrichment toys for the dogs and Life off the lead will not be held liable for any injuries they may incur if they do so.
The Client should be aware that the ground is uneven in places and caution must be taken. The Client is using the field at their own risk.
The Client is advised to wear sensible and appropriate footwear to suit the grounds and conditions.
The boundary and security of the field is regularly checked. However, the Client is advised to check that they are satisfied with the height, safety and condition of the fencing prior to using the field and to inform Life off the lead on 07849488485 of any discrepancies.
